News Editor/Investigative Team

Zaakirah I’m a junior Communications major with a passion for broadcast journalism. I started working for the newspaper as a sophomore staff writer and later became the editor of the Investigative Team. I am now the current editor of the BU news section. In addition to editing/ fact-checking, I spend much of my time talking to students/staff around campus- attaining quotes and understanding what issues need to be spotlighted. I enjoy writing for the candor because we write about events and ideas that bring the school community together.
