Dear Ernie,

I have been wanting to spend more time watching more tv and movies, but I never know what to watch! What are some Netflix recommendations?

Sincerely,

The Netflix Enthusiast

Dear Netflix Enthusiast,

There are so many good shows, movies, and documentaries to watch on Netflix. Here are some of my favorites:

  • The Tinder Swindler: One swipe can change your life forever with this jaw-dropping story.
  • Don’t F*** with Cats (crime): An absurd online video brings animal lovers together to fight for justice, well the creator of the video has more planned.
  • American Murder: The Family Next Door (crime): This documentary examines the disappearance of a woman and her children, and the horrible events that later followed.
  • Untold: The Girlfriend Who Didn’t Exist: As a talented linebacker for Norte Dame Manti Te’o continues his career, a new online relationship begins to evolve.

Movies:

  • The Founder (drama): Ray Kroc becomes a driven man and wants to change the way hamburgers are made and sold.
  • The Stepfather (thriller): A series of events that takes place makes a teen suspect that his mom’s new boyfriend may be dangerous.
  • The Perfect Date (romantic comedy): A teen launches his own app offering his services as being a fake date.
  • The Woman in the Window (Mystery): A psychologist becomes obsessed with her new neighbors and her agoraphobia is what’s keeping her in. She witnesses a brutal crime from her window.
  • Hush (horror): A deaf writer who lives in the woods must fight for her life in silence when there is a killer who shows up in her window.

TV Shows:

  • How to Sell Drugs Online Fast (crime): when his girlfriend breaks up with him and goes to study abroad, Moritz schemes to win her back by getting his hands on a stash of ecstasy.
  • The Circle (reality tv): An experiment begins as people create their profiles and start connecting
  • You (thriller): A bookstore manager crosses paths with a female writer, and using every tool on the internet, he finds ways to get closer to her and stops anyone in his way.
  • Tattoo redo: talented artists transform tattoo disasters into stunning cover-ups.
  • Ginny and Georgia (Comedy-drama): Teenager Ginny and her family decide to put down their roots after years on the run.
  • The Ultimatum (reality): Couples put their love to the test while having encounters with other potential matches.
  • Love is Blind: Singles try to find a match and fall in love without ever seeing each other face to face.

I hope you enjoy these amazing shows, movies, and documentaries as much as I did!

Ernie
