The White Sox have been one of the hottest teams in the MLB with a 22-13 record were on top of the AL central coming into the Minnesota Twins three-game series.

Everyone has been doing their part to maintain success, but with hot hitting from Jose Abreu, Tim Anderson, and rookie of the year candidate Luis Robert, a deep playoff run is the light at the end of the tunnel for all fans.

However, the series against the Twins made them take a few steps back in their hot start. Their defense struggled, and recorded 8 errors in the 3 game series. White Sox pitching has been less than stellar, which in turn helped the Twins tally 16 runs and fueled them to win two out of three over the Southsiders.

Fortunately, the Sox were able to bounce back with a 4-game sweep of the Kansas City Royals. This was powered by their offense, scoring 31 total runs off 45 hits in the series.

Currently, the Sox now find themselves sitting on the top of the division. With some very winnable games for them coming up in their schedule.

The end of the regular season is near, with the next big series on Monday Sep. 14 against the Twins once again.
