Singer Selena Gomez is expanding her fashion portfolio by releasing a new campaign with Puma for their new footwear launch, Phenom. She debuted the campaign on her Instagram September 18, showing her wearing a Puma sports bra and leggings. Puma then confirmed the news on their own Instagram that same day. Puma showed a shot of Gomez from her campaign, from early September.
“Being part of the PUMA family is very exciting for me,” said Gomez in a press release to Cosmopolitan Magazine, “PUMA has changed the game when it comes to the mash-up of athletic wear and fashion…we already have some really cool projects in the works.”
The singer has been publicly dating fellow artist The Weekend, who is also part of the Puma family. He has been nothing but supportive of the new campaign. He liked and commented on Gomez’s campaign announcement photo from her Instagram, while also sharing the photo on his Insta story with the caption “@puma. “
Gomez revealed in an interview with Vogue about the partnership and that her and The Weekend how they practically wear each other’s clothes.
“I mean, at this point, my boyfriend and I share closets…Sometimes I’ll throw on his Puma stuff and just go out with my shoes,” said Gomez.
It has not been said when the launch of this campaign will happen, but we know it will be EPIC.
