The Best Contouring Kits

When you are doing your makeup, you apply foundation to give your face a balanced smooth look. If you are going to an event in the evening there is a step further you can take and that’s contouring.

Contouring is giving shape to the face and enhancing facial structures. It can also give your face a glow for pictures and when you’re in certain lighting. A thing to look into when buying a contouring palette is if you can use it for a long time and if it will work well with your skin tone.

There are a few contouring kits that can give you this natural glowing look. The Anastasia Contour Palette has multiple colors and when you mix them together it can give you simple but, also dramatic. The palette is super pigmented so a little goes a long way. The contour colors range from cool to warm. The highlight colors offer a matte pink undertone, a matte yellow undertone and a soft highlight shimmer that has an ever-so-slight pinkish tone. The price is 40 dollars.

The Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow palette have intensely pigmented smooth-as-silk formulas which work on any skin tone. The bronzer isn’t too red or orange, it’s just right, and the highlighter gives a beautiful, soft glow. The highlighter looks shimmery but once you put it on, it has a pearlescent finish. The price for this one is 68 dollars.

The last contour kit is called the Benefit 10 Bronzing and Highlighting Duo. It’s a two-in-one palette that has a champagne-toned highlighter with bronzer. It has a rectangular brush which is key to creating the perfect contouring look. Once you apply to your face they blend together to look natural. This palette is 28 dollars. You can find any of these products at your local Sephora.
