Recently a patient was saved due to FitBit claimed by a doctor from New Jersey. FitBit is a device that tracks the activity you do.

“FitBit is a physical activity tracker designed to help you become more active, eat a more well-rounded diet, sleep better and ultimately, turn you into a healthier human being,” stated from how stuff works website.

On April 11 of 2016, the FitBit proved to show some better benefit.

“Doctors in New Jersey say a Fitbit may have saved a patient’s life. First responders rushed the 42-year-old man to a hospital in Camden after he suffered a seizure. “stated from abc7NY website.

“Doctors looked at his Fitbit app, then discovered he had a more serious problem. The device recorded an episode of atrial fibrillation hours before the seizure. The data helped doctors determine the patient needed an electrical shock to get his heart rate back to normal”, continues from abc7NY website.

Remarkably, the FitBit helped determine what happened to the patient to let the doctor know.
