The Importance of Making an Impact

Regular physical activity is one of the greatest things you can do for yourself.  It improves your mental health and mood, strengthens your bones and muscles, and can help you get that summer body you have been dreaming about.  If not knowing what to do in the gym is holding you back, then here are a few helpful tips.

  1. Do some research. Looking into what easy exercises to do in the gym is a great start;  just be aware of your form and make sure you are taking it easy.
  2. Always stretch before and after every workout session, this will keep you limber and help prevent injuries.
  3. Always stay hydrated, not staying hydrated can be uncomfortable- and dangerous.  Staying hydrated will also help you get the most out of your workout.
  4. Lastly, dress cute! Dressing cute will help keep you motivated and feel like a professional.

Some easy exercises to start with are the use of kettlebells.  They are a serious cardio without the boredom of the hamster wheel (treadmill), functional strength without the monotony of isolated reps, fun and varied, never boring, they are also safe — for any age, shape or size, they also combine “cardio” and “strength” training, and the solution for busy people.
