Who do you want to be the next president?

There are seventeen candidates running for President of our country. Three are from the Democratic Party, twelve from the Republican Party, one from the Libertarian Party, and one for the Green Party.

Democratic Party: Hilary Clinton, Martin O’Malley, and Bernie Sanders.

Republican Party: Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Ted Cruz, Carly Fiorina, Jim Gilmore, Mike Huckabee, John Kasich, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Rick Santorum, and Donald J. Trump.

Libertarian Party: Gary Johnson.

Green Party: Jill Stein.

These are our potential Presidents. Some names you may have heard of; Donald Trump, Hilary Clinton, or Bernie Sanders. The moment you read these names an opinion came to mind. Maybe you don’t want Trump to ever set foot in the White House or Hilary Clinton is your favorite person on this Earth. Either way, they still have a chance. The Primaries begin February 1st, which means that you can make a difference. The Primary elections in

Illinois are set for March 15. If you want to make sure that Trump never gets onto the final ballad or you can’t stand the thought of O’Malley then start by voting on March 15. You can begin educating yourself on the elections by watching the Republican debate February 6th and the Democratic debate February 11. College age students are the future of this country and should begin to take responsibility by starting to vote.
