Another win for Benedictine’s men’s basketball added onto their winning streak when they defeated Edgewood College last Saturday afternoon. This is the seventh win in a row of the men’s basketball season.

Benedictine began in the lead by 7-0 in the first half. The first two points were made by senior John Dodson and the other five points were made by Reynolds.
Senior Luke Johnson scored a three pointer which added into a 17 point lead against Edgewood. The score was 19-2. Benedictine remained in the lead throughout the first half.
Junior Michael Blaszczyk helped advance the lead to 21 points ahead of Edgewood by scoring two free throws with only about three minutes left. The result of this had the score by 32-11.
Johnson scored a two pointer with 19 seconds left then followed by two more points by Edgewood to end the first half with the score of 38-20.
Benedictine continued to advance in the lead in the second half. A three pointer by Johnson around the beginning of the second half added Benedictine to a 27 point lead.
