How to Reduce the Cold/Flu

The cold weather has come which means the cold and flu season is back. There are ways to reduce catching both the cold and flu.
There is a list of six ways to prevent catching the flu which are, “Avoid close contact with people who are sick, stay home if you are sick, cover your mouth and nose, clean your hands, avoid touching your eyes; nose; or mouth,practice other good habits”, according to the Centers of Disease and Control Prevention (CDC) website.
Also, often these two illnesses are confused with one another so to tell the difference is to remember that the cold is milder than the flu. The flu is more serious.
On the website of medicine net it lists some steps to reduce getting the cold such as, “wash your hands often, avoid touching your face, keep household surfaces clean, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and control stress”.
Stay warm, eat healthy, get enough sleep during the night, and stay hydrated are also other ways to reduce either illnesses.
