Green tea is a common beverage around the world and research shows the certain health benefits. Tea in general is healthy but green tea has certain health benefits. Green tea contains antioxidants to help fight and help cell damage which are catechins.

One of the well-known properties of green tea is that it contains caffeine which, like coffee, helps a person to stay awake. But even with the caffeine, green tea can also be relaxing.
