University police continue to investigate the home invasion that occurred in Thomas Hall on March 24, and have been talking with the states attorneys’ office for possible criminal charges.
Victims and witnesses that have come forward and persons of interested that have been identified continue to contribute valuable information to resolve this incident.
BenU police are working toward to piece together this crime.
“Officers working hard on every shift, there is about 6 BenU police officers, that are actively engaged, attempting to get as much information as possible,” said Chief Of Police at Benedictine University, Michael Salatino.
“It is our theory that this was an isolated and targeted incident,” continued Salatino. We are interviewing every angle to solve this case.”
This case will continue to be under investigation.
“As always, any suspicious person or incident should be immediately reported to Benedictine University police,” said Salatino.
