BenU police responded for the 3rd time for a call of loud music at Thomas Hall. Investigation determined that the resident that was warned 3 times before to lower the music. He was impaired and cited for the noise complaint. Police were later on called to respond to a disturbance at the lobby of the BenU police station for the same individual who was cited earlier. The male student became extremely loud and disturbed police operations. He was then arrested for disorderly conduct under village ordinance, and then released a few hours later.
Monday, April 6 at 1:35 a.m.
BenU responded to a complaint of breaking glass at Anderson Hall. Investigation determined that a resident in Anderson had returned to his residence in an impaired state. Without explanation he began breaking all windows in his apartment, and then he punched several times a male resident student. An ambulance was called for the battered student, which he declined any medical assistances. The student whom broke the windows was then arrested for criminal damage for University property and will be prosecuted by the DuPage County State Attorneys Office. A court date will be determined. The student has also been trespassed from BenU property until further notice.

BU police were patrolling Jaeger Hall with a drug k9 who alerted on the smell of marijuana that was coming form a dorm room. Investigation determined that the resident in the dorm room had been smoking marijuana and had a quantity of it in her purse. She was then cited administratively and resident’s life is reviewing the incident.
