I have a few movies in mind that I really can’t wait to see when they come out and they seem like they are going to be interesting to watch. So, here is my list of the top 6 movies that I really want to watch this upcoming year that I suggest you should go see as well!

This prequel to the famously known “Despicable Me” movies tells the story on how the minions of Gru came to be. The trailer showed how the minions were brought onto the earth to serve the most evil creature alive from the dinosaurs to Napoleon to Dracula. However, when they seem to have no one to serve, they become restful and bored with nothing to do. Three minions, Kevin, Bob, and Staurt, set out to find their tribe of minions the biggest and most bad master for them to serve. They set out on a grand quest for this mission to become possible, which ends up them searching for a new master in New York. Will they be able to find one before the whole minion race dies out? Find out when the film comes out July 2015.

The new Pixar film that is going to be released shows us on what life is like for the emotions that are inside our heads. The story involves a little girl named Riley who is adjusting to a new school, a new house, and a new town. The story also involves the emotions that are living inside Riley’s head: joy, sadness, anger, disgust, and fear. As the story progresses on, the emotions start to panic as to what will happen next. Will they be able to let Riley feel the right emotions at the right time? See what happens when the movie is released in June 2015.

The long awaited sequel to the first Avengers is finally coming out this year and I am super excited for it! It seems that a new enemy has risen: a robot named Ultron who was originally supposed to help people but it has now turned evil. Now, it’s up to the Avengers to work together to stop Ultron from taking over the planet and ruling all of mankind. This movie is sure to have a lot of action, suspense, a little bit of humor in it, and all of the awesomeness that Marvel movies provide their audiences. See what kind of awesomeness is in store for this movie when it comes out in May 2015.

After the first part of Mockingjay, everyone left the theater with these questions: What’s going to happen to Peeta? Will Katniss ever finish the rebellion along with everyone else involved? Well, let’s hope that all of these questions will be answered as we discover the things that are going to come about in the second part of Mockingjay. If you haven’t seen the first part of Mockingjay, I highly recommend that you do because it will surely put you on the end of your seat when you watch it! I won’t give away a lot of spoilers, but I will say that you will have a shocked face on the entire time that you will be wanting to see the second part when it comes out in November.

The first Pitch Perfect film was such a success that there was something that told me that they would be definitely be making a second film. The Barden Bellas are back and they are competing in the International Acapella competition. Most of your favorite characters are back and there are also some new characters that they meet along the way. Be sure to watch Becca, Aubrey, Chloe, Jesse, Bumper, and Fat Amy as they continue their adventures in the world of acapella when the movie is released in July. This movie is going to be Aca-Tastic!

This adaptation of the original Disney fairytale combines the magic of the cartoon version with the moderation of this century. With all of the elements that make the story a classic one, like the Fairy Godmother, the glass slippers, the friendly mice, and the wicked stepmother. It’ll be cool to see how they are able to make a real life action version. The trailer seems like it won’t be a disappointment as the producers of the movie do their best to incorporate the important elements that make the movie a memorable one in the past, present, and future. I guess that we’ll have to see how this modern version of a classic fairytale will be presented when it comes out in March.
