Police Reports – November 5

Tuesday, October 28 at 9:27 p.m.


BenU Police responded to a complaint of the smell of marijuana possibly coming from one of the Ondrak student’s room that is residing at the Hyatt Hotel. They discovered that a student and a non-student had a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia and were then cited for the possession of those items.


Tuesday, October 28 at 9:41 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.


Two residents of Anderson Hall reported their Mac Book Pro Laptop’s were stolen from the common area of their apartment. The investigation could not determine if the residents locked their door. No further information has been given.


Saturday, November 1 at 11:50 p.m.


BenU police observed 2 vehicles in the Kindlon parking lot and detected burning cannabis. They then discovered the drivers had a small amount of marijuana in their vehicles. Both persons were non-students and were cited for possession of cannabis.


Sunday, November 2 at 12:05 a.m.


BenU Police were called to Coal Ben to investigate a resident student whom they believed intended to purchase alcohol with a license that wasn’t his own. He already consumed alcohol before attending the party at Coal Ben. The student was cited for consuming alcohol by a minor, and possession of a false presentation of a driver’s license.
