Television Revives in The Fall

This upcoming fall, many stations on television are going to be releasing new shows. Varying from a new NCIS, to new romantic shows, it seems that CBS, NBC, FOX and ABC are the main four stations to turn to as the fall starts to come in. The variety of shows will catch the eye of diverse audiences.

If you are looking for a romantic comedy show to enjoy, this is up your alley. This NBC series is about a man named Andrew

and a woman named Zelda (A to Z, get it?) These two people are on opposite ends on the spectrum as Andrew is shown as a huge Celine Dion fan while Zelda is a no-nonsense lawyer who wants to keep everything under control when she is online. When these two people are introduced at a meeting for the online dating company, sparks begin to fly and things begin to build up. Is it true love or is it a detour of destiny? Tune in on October 2nd at 9:30/8:30c on NBC to find out what happens.

The new comedy series on ABC is one that can be relatable to every family. In this show, Andre Johnson, played by Anthony Anderson, is shown as a very successful man with a great job, a wonderful house, and a loving family. However, whenever he has a chance to look around his neighborhood, it seems that his children are influenced by the other white kids they befriended. In order to stop this from getting too far, Andre tries to connect the children to their black culture so they don’t forget who they really are. Get a taste of the new generation Cosby Family premiering September 24th at 9:30/8:30c.

This new drama is for all of comic book loving people, especially those fans of Batman. The plot of this show follows a new recruit in Gotham City’s police department, detective James Gordon who works side by side with Harvey Bullock to solve the murder case of Thomas and Martha Wayne. Gordon gets the chance to meet the son, Bruce Wayne, who is in care of the butler, Alfred. As time goes on, the two form an unlikely friendship as they encounter new villains of Gotham, which will shape Bruce into the hero that he is meant to be. Start from the origins of the infamous villains such as The Penguin, Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, Hugo Strange, and many more. This prequel of the Batman series showcases on FOX on September 22nd at 9/8c.

For those of you who are fans of the Breakfast Club, then this show is meant for you. This new comedy-drama series tells the lives of several kids who spend their days in a hospital. Two of them have cancer, one has a failing heart, another refuses to eat anything, one has cystic fibrosis, and the other one is in a coma. These kids have different personalities as they are known as a bookworm, a jock, a mean cheerleader, a cool kid, and a foreigner. As they may seem different, they seem to come together to become a nice group of friends who ‘band’ together through each of their struggles. You can watch the events of these teenagers when the show premieres on September 17th at 9/8c on FOX.
