The lights drop, as the sound of thousands of screaming fans chant something in unison. Backstage all of your crew is amped up ready to go, and now it has finally sunk in that you are the most talked about artist in the world. As you get closer to the stage, you can finally make out what your fans have been screaming, your name, the one and only Miley Cyrus.
These picture painted in your mind became a reality for the international pop star when she kicked off her 2014 Bangerz Tour on February 14th in Vancouver. By now, if you don’t know who Miley is or how she has transformed, you will shortly be informed by the description of her interesting stage props and antics.
It is no surprise that Miley’s tour is larger-than-life with props, lights, dancing and much more. However, these typical concert elements have been created by the crazy ideas in Miley’s head, so let’s just say they are a little different from what the average concertgoer is use to. From over sized hot dog props, to giant teddy bears twerking on each other, Cyrus has made it clear that what ever she wants goes. This tour is anything but boring, even if you don’t know one Miley Cyrus song, I am sure the distraction from all the crazy props will be worth your money.
The show opens up with a blown up picture of Cyrus’ face, then out comes a tongue from her mouth and the star herself slides down to start off her show. Kids, I advise you do not bring your parents to this concert. As for parents, just beware of what I have told you about the concert thus far before you let your 12-year-old daughter go. Don’t get me wrong, the girl can sing too! She might not be the innocent Hannah Montana anymore, but she still is a preforming artist, and a lot of people forget that she still is extremely talented. She would not be making such a big name for herself if at the end of the day she still didn’t love to sing.
If you want to see Miley Cyrus ride a gigantic hotdog while preforming or sliding out of a blown up picture of her face, her tour is coming to the Allstate Arena in Rosemont on March 7th!
