The Benedictine University women’s golf team opened the spring portion of the 2013 season as they competed at the University of St. Francis invite on Friday and Saturday. The Eagles finished 12th at the event with a total of 876 team points.
Alexis Wodowski led the Eagles as she was the only Eagle to score under 100 for both days, recording 87 on Friday and 97 on Saturday. Her total score of 184 was good enough for 39th overall. Bailey Webber, Sara Kubiak and Marisol Cerrillos rounded out the top five for BenU.
Bethel College of Indiana took home the team title as they scored 322 total team points, while Mary-Kate Rohn of North Central College took home the individual crown with an overall score of 151.
The lady Eagles will next be on the course on April 13th as they travel to historic Saint Andrews for a duel match with Aurora University.
