Officers were called to a disturbance in Anderson Hall. There was a male, impaired student, who was emotional, aggressive, and covered with blood. The officers went to his aid. The student resisted and fought with the officers. The Lisle police and fire department came, and the student was taken to Edward’s Hospital. It was found that the student ingested a controlled substance. After an inspection of the student’s room, the officers found a broken window, which was most likely where the injuries were from. Charges and warrants are pending on accounts of aggressive battery to police, resisting arrest, and criminal damage to property. This matter will be reviewed by the DuPage County State’s attorney.
