On March 27 at 7:03 P.M., University Police along with canine Sophie were on patrol in the South Ondrak parking lot. They detected five individuals seated in a vehicle. As the officers approached, the canine alerted to the possession of narcotics. A subsequent search identified two non-students and three Benedictine students. The search revealed a quantity of marijuana in numerous places throughout the vehicle. The owner of the vehicle, a non-student, was arrested and criminally charged. The two Benedictine students were cited for the constructive possession of cannabis. The remaining non-student was trespassed from the property.
