There is a new quick-service café to be kept on the radar called the Pinched Mediterranean Grill, located in Lombard. It is open for business to bring fresh, healthy fare to the western suburbs. Pinched offers cuisine that combines the blending of the vibrant cultures of Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean through the celebration of hearty cuisine.

Walking into the café, the smell of freshly baked pita bread will entice one to walk in further and immediately initiates a craving for one of the tasteful shawarmas. The menu is fully customizable with dishes such as falafel, chicken shawarma and beef chevaps paired perfectly with the fresh salads and hummus that add color to each made-to-order dish. Every meal comes with a fluffy, freshly baked pita bread that arrives at tables still warm from the oven.

A smile from Ranka, the owner, welcomes guests into the cozy, bright cafe, where a friendly staff member will be waiting to assist you with the order.

“First and foremost, I love the food we serve. I wanted to share it with everyone,” she said, “We all need healthier, affordable options without having to sacrifice real flavor, even when we’re short on time.”

The contemporary cafe’s golden walls, accented by a red counter and photos of their exotic spices, invite patrons to watch as chefs create aromatic meals in the open-air kitchen.

If you’re hosting a work lunch or party, Pinched will deliver a Mediterranean feast wherever and whenever you need it.

They are located at 2770 S Highland Ave #102 Lombard, IL 60148.
