The Candor

A few words of advice from T’n’C

Dear T’n’C,

I am thinking about transferring out of Benedictine. I had a great first semester at school but being at home really made me miss my family and old friends. I know that this is a sudden thought and I would like to hear your input.

Sincerely,

Prospective Transfer Student

Dear Prospective Transfer Student,

I think that you should wait it out until the end of the year. Freshman and even sophomore year of college can be a confusing time for a college student. You are still in a transition mode. See how your first semester of sophomore year goes and then decide. As for missing your friends, you should skype or oovo them once a week! I’m sure they miss you just as much as you miss them. You should not transfer because you miss your friends. You will have all summer with them as well as spring break and if you decided to go home on certain weekends. Good luck with your decision.

Love,

T’n’C

Dear T’n’C,

The new year is finally here and I do not have a resolution. Almost everyone chooses to lose weight for their new years resolution but I would like to do something different. Do you have any suggestions?

Love,

Clueless

Dear Clueless,

We understand about the whole resolution thing. Here are just a couple options that we have come up with. You could volunteer your time at a soup kitchen or a hospital. You could try couponing. It has become a popular way to save money amongst the community as well as Hollywood celebrities. You could try texting and facebooking less and spend more time with family. Hope these helped!

Love,

T’n’C
